In 2026, the Me and My Pal programs will be held at Camp Potomac Woods (Leesburg, VA) and Camp Winona (Hughesville, MD).
Camp Potomac Woods:
Saturday, June 27, 10:00am - Sunday, June 28, 10:00am (1-night)
Camp Winona:
Saturday, July 18, 10:00am - Sunday, July 19, 10:00am (1-night)
Program Description: Bring your favorite adult to camp and see what Sleep-Away Camp is all about! You will experience the best parts of camp, including target sports, arts and crafts, nature exploration, and of course, s’mores! Trained camp staff will provide all of the activities and caregivers will provide supervision for their campers. All attendees, campers and adults must be currently registered members of Girl Scouts Nation's Capital, with the exception of preK campers.
Fee: $155/person
Grades: Pre-K - 3rd
1. MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED: All attendees, campers and adults, must be currently registered members of Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital, with the exception of pre-K campers.
2. The early camper placement submission process will be open from 10:00AM on Monday, December 15, 2025 to 11:59 PM on Monday, January 5, 2026.
3. This process is separate from the regular Sleep-Away Camp early camper placement process, so placement in either will not hinder a camper's chance of placement in the other.
4. Placement notifications will be sent to the email address you list below by Tuesday, January 13, 2026. If you do not receive a notification by the end of that day, please contact us at councilcare@gscnc.org.
5. By entering this process, your group will be considered for placement at ONE camp.
6. Below you will provide the total number for your group (adults + youth). Each group can have up to 2 adults and 3 youth members.
7. If you need to make any adjustments to your submission, you will need to submit a brand new submission for consideration. The older submission(s) will be removed and we will go based off of the most recent one.
